Ears to Hear
God’s Word has been given to increase growth, fruitfulness, and blessing, both in and through your life. And it is only as you and I keep open to it—keep listening with a ready heart to be taught and to obey—that fruit will appear and increase.
Every time the words “He who has ears to hear, let him hear” occur in the New Testament, Jesus is the one who is speaking. This is no casual expression. It is the divine Son of God saying, “Don’t ever close your ears or your heart to your need to be taught. It’s the key to growth, to fruitfulness, and to the joy of a multiplied harvest of God’s blessing in your life.”
His is the power. Ours may be the blessing. But how we listen will determine it all.
