FOR THOSE WHO NEED TO FORGIVE

Forgive and you will be forgiven.

Luke 6:37

I pray for those who struggle with forgiveness. Forgiving others is something I’ve struggled with, so I know the darkness it brings to life when trying to walk in the spirit. You say very clearly that we must be able to forgive to be forgiven. You made the ultimate sacrifice, Jesus, and I pray that we can truly forgive, just as you forgave us. 

Forgiveness doesn’t mean reconciliation. It means letting go of those chains that are binding you and moving forward. It’s hard for women to forgive at times. Our humanness takes over. We want revenge against those who do us harm, or those who do our children harm. But vengeance belongs to the Lord. He can do it so much better than we can. But we can be a witness to you by showing grace to others as you did to us.
