Walking With Jesus Pavyzdys

This week we will be walking with Jesus as He is arrested. We will read each account of what happened from each of the Gospels. As the week goes on, we will dig deeper into meanings of certain things that happened during the arrest of Jesus. As you take the next four days to read from the perspective of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, be sure to pay attention to the similarities and differences noted in each book.
Jesus’ arrest according to Matthew
Matthew was one of Jesus’ 12 disciples. Once he was a despised tax collector, but his life was changed by this man from Galilee. Matthew wrote his gospel to his fellow Jews to prove that Jesus is the Messiah and to explain God’s kingdom.
Today’s Scripture: Matthew 26:47-56
Pray: Ask God to reveal to you His truths as you read His Word. Don’t skip this important step.
Read: As you read ask the “5 W’s and an H” questions: Who? What? When? Where? Why? How?
