Who You Say I Am - Part 3Pavyzdys

We know that in the beginning God created everything. The first people God created, He named Adam and Eve. God planted a garden for the man and woman with fruit trees and flowing rivers to water the garden. Adam and Eve ate from the tree God told them not to eat from, they disobeyed Him and from then on all people would be separated from God because of sin. Through Adam, people were set on course to a life away from God.
Sometime later, another man would come. A man who would set people on course to a life with God. A new life! God sent His Son Jesus to take the punishment for sin. Jesus is the last Adam,
This is why Jesus is sometimes called the ‘Last Adam’. The first Adam brought separation from God and then Jesus, The Last Adam, reconciles us and brings us back to God.
Jesus died and rose again so we could be forgiven and be made new. Just as Jesus died and rose again, when we choose to follow Jesus our old way of living is dead and buried and we are raised to a new life with Christ. Our old way of living life our own way, has been buried and we are raised to new life with Jesus. Sin separated us from God but through Jesus we are made right.
See today’s verse about being made alive through Christ.
