Day 1 — THE PILLOW OF GOD’S PROMISES Well, the greater storm wasn’t in the sea; it was in the hearts and minds of the disciples! How is it that Jesus could sleep in the midst of the storm, but the disciples could only worry and fear? Because Jesus declared a promise! And He always keeps His promises. He told them that they were going to the other side. And no matter what came their way, they were going to get there. He knew they would make it. And they did! Each and every promise in God’s Word has been given to us, in Christ Jesus, to be able to draw confidence, hope, and rest from. Rest on the pillow of God’s promises, and you will make it to the other side of whatever you’re facing today! Mark 4:35, 37-38 (NKJV)
