For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there among them.

The power in coming together is at least partially because it demonstrates our relationship as a family of believers. There is a power that is inherent in healthy families. We feel it when we are together. We miss it when we are apart.

Our spiritual family is the same. Have you missed being together? Do you feel it? Have you just missed seeing those familiar faces each week as we gather? Zoom has been an adequate option, but it can’t replicate the presence we feel when we gather.

The primary reason for that is when we are together, Jesus is in our midst. Not that we are ever without His presence, but there is something special that happens when two or more get together. There is so much more in that passage that precedes the verse for the day of value. I encourage you to check it out completely. The presence of the Lord in our midst is a truly powerful promise.

As we come back together, take a moment and relish the special presence of the Lord!
