No matter how it happens, the reality is that people are going to let us down. And when they do, we feel disrespected, unloved, and undervalued. 

But here, we’re reminded that God never lets us down. As real and painful as the hurt from others may be, we can be sure God will never hurt us, never break our trust, and never leave us. His presence remains unchanging and unwavering no matter our circumstances, and that is something that will never disappoint. We can count on it. Always. Today, take a moment to remember that no matter who around you may let you down, you can be confident that God remains true and present with you through it all.
