Think about your favorite item of clothing. Is it a pair of cool sneakers, a comfy sweatshirt, or a t-shirt you wear almost every day? In the same way you put on that favorite piece of clothing with excitement, God calls us to put on the qualities that show others His love.
When we choose to act with things like love, kindness, humility, patience, goodness, and gentleness, we’re choosing to put on the characteristics of God Himself. When we do, we're showing a little bit of who God is to the people around us.
Which of these qualities do you want to work on developing in your life? Choose just one and focus on showing that quality to the people in your life this week.
