The Slack Hand.

“He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.” Proverbs‬ ‭10:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Those that deal with a slack hand, will soon become unfruitful. Those that handle the small things in a slothful manner, will soon become unsuccessful. Handle all matters with a diligent hand. Handle your assignments with a steady and consistent hand. Let God lead the work of your hands in private. Choose to be faithful even when no one is watching. Let God lead, shape and develop your character. 

Choose to be faithful over the small things. Luke‬ ‭19:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬ declares, “And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.” Be faithful over what you have been given today. Faithfully steward what God has given you. 

The slack hand is not trustworthy. Those who slack are not consistent. In fact, the fruit of the slack and slothful are unstable. James 1:8 KJV declares, “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” Don’t waver — choose to stay focused on fulfilling and obeying God’s Word. Don’t stagger. Stay focused. Fulfill what God has Promised you.
