Take a deep breath. 

Now again. 

There’s something about consciously breathing in and out that can calm you down, right? And while you may not understand exactly how air goes in and out of your lungs to keep you alive, you can still feel the power of breathing and understand its importance. 

When God created man, He could have done it the same way He created everything else. Interestingly though, God chose to breathe His own breath, the breath of life, into mankind—something He didn’t do with anything else in creation! 

That might sound a little weird, but the point is, God intentionally created you unique from every other single thing in creation, and that’s pretty awesome! 

Today, take a moment to pause and just breathe for a full minute. As you do, thank God for creating you unique—not just unique from everything else in creation, but from everyONEelse, too.
