For years I prayed and begged God to take away my burdens to no avail. What I see now is that I wasn’t willing to take action. While I prayed for change, I wasn’t willing to put in the hard work to accomplish what I desired. Years passed before I realized that it would take blood, sweat, and tears to see true and genuine change. I tried and tried to resist temptation, but it eventually led to sin because I resisted in my own strength, rather than in God’s strength. You are going to get bloody because this is a battleground. It’s a battleground for your soul, your freedom, and your life. Take heart because this journey will build your testimony. God hears you. He is with you. He is your protein boost. Use His power, not your own, to resist your struggles! Keep talking to Him. Don't give up! Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
