What Is Generosity?Pavyzdys

Generosity is inspired by Christmas but shouldn’t just be at Christmas.
We learned a ton about generosity. But the main thing is to know that generosity is a way of life. We aren’t just generous around Christmas, although it’s great to be a generous giver at Christmas. Instead, we choose every day to make generous choices that put others first.
And why does it all matter? Because Jesus showed us generosity when He gave us His life. That’s what Christmas is all about. Christmas is about celebrating God’s most generous gift to us—Jesus. Check out the Christmas story in this video and in your Bible reading today. As you do, remember that although generosity is inspired by Christmas, it’s for every season, not just at Christmas.
Pray: God, thank You for being so generous to us by giving us the best gift ever—Your Son, Jesus. Help us become more generous like You, not so that we can get applause but so that more people can learn about You. Give us pure, generous hearts. Help us not become consumed with getting stuff but instead to give freely. We pray more people will enter your family because of Your Son, Jesus. We love You and thank You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
