Rocky reminders
How do you make sure you remember something really important? Do you write a note for yourself? Tap a message into your smartphone?
God gave his people a way of remembering what he had just done.
Read Joshua chapter 4, verses 1 to 7 and verses 21 to 24, if you haven’t already done so.
What was God’s way of reminding his people of his power? What did he ask them to build?
Ask a friend or someone in your family about what God has done in their life. What can they remember?
Pray. Find a small stone or pebble to hold, while you say, “God, help me to notice and remember the powerful things you do around me.”
