Your harvest depends on whether you sow. 2 Corinthians 9:6 begins with “He who sows.” This may seem obvious; you never hear a farmer say, “I’m hoping to get my harvest first.” But a lot of people come to church asking God to bless them with a harvest from un sown seeds. In farming you cannot access a harvest without sowing the seed. Farmer Brown can stand in his field all day and ask Got to bless him with a harvest. But unless Farmer Brown has planted his seed, his prayers will do no good. So if you have a need the question is, did you plant a seed? Without the seed, it can rain and the sun can shine, but nothing is going to happen because when it comes to experiencing God’s grace, it must be accessed. Have you sown your seed?
