How Jesus Prepared Disciples - Disciple Makers Series #11Pavyzdys

Do Not Worry ! Do not be afraid.
Fear shows up in many ways. It is seen most easily where we face attacks. The greater and more threatening the attack, the greater the fear.
Fear shows up in other things too. Loneliness. Feeling insignificant. Not believing we will be accepted. God says do not be afraid. He knows our every need. He knows our struggles. He knows and watches over us every day. He counts the hairs (and the ones that fall out). He knows where every single bird is located. He knows where His children are and what they face.
Time to Pray
Father, in the face of attacks from people, I know it is easy for me not to see You and Your protection around me. It is easy to be distracted from what You ask me to do. It is easy to pull back in fear and stop doing what You say. Not today Lord!! I want to go about today with my focus on You and Your task for me. Give me strength, give me focus and give me joy in the task. In Jesus’ name I pray Amen.

Apie šį planą

Matthew writes to God’s people and walks them on a journey that will take them from where they are to be Disciple Makers. This is the 11th of 27 devotional plans walking us through the book of Matthew. Jesus does not leave us unprepared as we release the Good News. He shows us how to release it and how to prepare for situations when we/the gospel are rejected.
