The Same Coin (S5 - E4)ಮಾದರಿ

Jesus is Lord
“The truth is there is nowhere where Jesus is not Lord.”
This statement is powerful and confronting.
Psalm 139 makes it clear. There is no place where God is absent. Not in the heights. Not in the depths. Everywhere you go, He is there. And this is not only true on a large scale, but also personally. Every word, every action, every thought is known.
Jesus is present in all of it, and He is Lord.
That fact can cause different reactions. For some, it might feel overwhelming, even threatening. Nothing escapes His awareness. For others, it is deeply liberating—to be fully known, pursued, and loved.
Psalm 139 reveals both the greatness and nearness of God. He is intimately involved in His creation. To say “Jesus is Lord” is to acknowledge His authority. He is Master, Creator, and King. Nothing else compares with Him.
And yet, His authority is not impersonal. In The Chosen, He calls Mary by name. He knew her even when she had completely lost her way. The One who rules over all is also the One who draws near to individuals.
So, ask yourself, is Jesus the Lord of your life? It is possible to agree with the statement without living under its reality. But if you come under that reality, it will shape your decisions, priorities, and identity. To say it is to recognize both who He is and where you stand.
Reflection Questions
- What does it mean to you to say that Jesus is Lord?
- Do you experience God’s presence as comforting, confronting, or both?
- Are there areas of your life where you resist His authority? What would it look like to trust Him more fully in those areas?
Prayer
Jesus, You are Lord over all creation. Everything belongs to You and You have made all things, including me. I want You to be Lord of my whole life. Come and take Your rightful place. Amen.
