Peace

Peace is the stillness
that meets us in the storm,
the quiet center
where God holds all things together.

Peace settles the heart
as we lay our burdens down,
guarding mind and spirit
with a presence stronger than fear.

Peace does not hide from conflict.
It steps into broken places,
mending what is torn,
gathering enemies and friends
into one table of grace.

Peace is the wholeness of God
woven through all things,
until earth and heaven
rest as one.
