Addiction Rewritten: Addiction Takes, God Providesಮಾದರಿ

When addiction starves you, God feeds you.
Addiction can starve you of more than just nutrients. It depletes emotions, hope, and faith. Even though someone might be full of addictive substances, they are empty of things they truly need.
In recovery, while the body begins to heal, the soul still cries out for nourishment. Our loving God answers those cries by giving more of Himself. He feeds the needy with truth when lies have ruled their minds. He restores joy where sorrow once lived. He fills up emptiness with presence, peace, and purpose.
Prayer
God, I’ve tried filling myself with everything but You. Nothing has filled me. Make me hunger for You only. Please feed my soul so that I may no longer be starving. Amen.
