Addiction Rewritten: Addiction Takes, God Providesಮಾದರಿ

When addiction leaves you feeling broken, God provides healing.
When a mirror breaks, pieces scatter everywhere, each one reflecting something different. Some are big. Some are small. Some are so sharp you’re scared they will cut you if you try to pick them up. That’s what addiction does: It shatters the picture of who you thought you were, leaving you with fragments of guilt, shame, and pain. Addiction breaks you down to the point that you wonder if you’re even worth trying to fix. You might wonder how something so broken could ever be whole again.
Though you might be scared of the mess, God isn’t. He uses brokenness to build something beautiful. Piece by piece, He gathers every shard of regret, guilt, shame, and fear, and begins to heal. Instead of building you as you were before, He creates a masterpiece — someone stronger, someone shaped by grace, someone alive.
Prayer
God, I feel broken. I have tried to tape the cracks and fill the holes, but I need Your help. Please heal the broken parts of me. Please help me trust that You are making something beautiful out of my mistakes. Amen.
