There’s Still Waterಮಾದರಿ

Worthy
In these verses, we get this amazing picture of heavenly worship, where all the angels, elders, and living creatures are praising God nonstop. They’re completely caught up in worship, declaring how great God is: “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power” (Revelation 4:11). These heavenly beings, who fully experience God’s majesty, can’t help but praise him. Their worship is pure, passionate, and never-ending.
The angels in Revelation aren’t just sitting back and watching. They are fully engaged, giving everything in worship because they know God is worthy of glory, honor, and praise. If these incredible beings, who have been in God’s presence for millennia, are moved to such worship, how much more should we be? We’re the ones who’ve experienced his grace and mercy firsthand. His sacrifice has saved us, and our lives are forever changed because of his love. So, when we worship, it’s not just something we do. It’s our way of glorifying him, lifting his name high, and giving back the honor he deserves. It’s a response from our hearts to the One who is more than worthy of everything we can offer.
Worship isn’t just something we do on Sunday mornings or during personal prayer. It’s an ongoing offering we bring to the Lord. Just as the angels and elders constantly worship God, we bring our lives, our voices, and our hearts before Him every day.
When we sing Worthy, we’re joining in with them, declaring that our God truly deserves all the praise. It’s about focusing our hearts on who God is—his holiness, his power, his beauty—and responding with awe, surrender, and love.
Take a moment to imagine the scene in Revelation: God’s throne is surrounded by His glory, with angels and elders bowing down, declaring how worthy He is. As you sing or listen to Worthy, remember that you’re stepping into that eternal worship, bringing your own offering to the King of kings.
Prayer:
Lord, you are worthy of all glory, honor, and power. Just as the angels and elders in heaven worship you day and night, I want my life to be an offering of worship to you. Help me to focus on you, to lift my eyes to your throne, and to declare your worth with all that I am. In every moment, may my heart be aligned with heaven’s song, singing of your greatness. Amen.
