YOUnique Purpose - Why Purpose?ಮಾದರಿ

Not Created to
The world has imposed its philosophies upon us, creating clutter in our minds or placing lenses over our eyes, like seat covers that obscure the beauty within. These veils have masked the masterpiece that God has designed each of us to be. Unless we consciously remove these false layers, we cannot fully perceive the grandeur of who we are in Christ Jesus. The first step towards decluttering and unveiling this masterpiece is to understand what we were not created for. If we do not recognize what we were not meant to be, we will struggle to grasp what we truly are meant to be.
We were not created to:
Conform
You were not created to Conform!
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” - Romans 12:2 (KJV)
“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.” Psalms 1:1-2 (KJV)
By default, we are drawn to conform to the patterns of this world. But when we do, we merely mimic the world around us, walk in its ways, and agree with its fleeting values. In doing so, we align our perspectives with temporary, worldly things that eventually wither and die. In effect, we place the world above God in our hierarchy of importance. But just like Daniel, Joseph, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, we are called to STOP conforming to the world’s patterns and instead focus our attention on pleasing God above all else.
Compare
You were not created to Compare!
“But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.” Galatians 6:4 (KJV)
God has a YOUnique Purpose for you, and you won’t accomplish it by looking at others.
a. Comparing is Dangerous: Comparing yourself to others is a recipe for disaster. It can lead to resentment, discontentment, jealousy, envy, pain, greed, anger, bitterness, and even pride.
b. Comparing is Discouraging: One of the quickest ways to become discouraged is by comparing yourself with others.
c. Comparing is Destructive: Comparing yourself to others is self-destructive. It leads to foolish decisions, traps you in a cycle of negativity, and clouds your mind, preventing you from thinking clearly. It also robs you of joy and peace.
Focus on your YOUnique Purpose, and you won’t need to look sideways—you’ll find fulfillment by looking upward to God and forward to your calling.
STOP Comparing
When we stop comparing ourselves with others:
- We run our race at our own pace: You can focus on the path God has set for you, without the distraction of trying to keep up with others.
- We allow God to accomplish His YOUnique Purpose for our lives: By letting go of comparisons, we open the door for God to fully work His plan in our lives.
- We enjoy God’s blessings and share them with others: Free from comparison, we become more aware of our blessings and can joyfully share them with those around us.
- We enjoy peace of mind and restoration along with a happy and thankful heart: Without the burden of comparison, we find contentment, gratitude, and the true peace that comes from trusting God’s plan.
