Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Twoნიმუში

He rains ruin upon the strong, so that fury comes upon the fortress (Amos 5:9 NKJV).
How shall we live knowing that judgment is coming to the world?
Revelation 6 introduces the opening of the seals, marking the beginning of the Tribulation’s judgments. Jesus warned of these events in Matthew 24, reminding his Jewish nation to remain watchful. As believers, God’s word promises us that we won’t face God’s wrath (1 Thessalonians 1:10), but we’re called to live with urgency and readiness.
Are you living in anticipation of His return, using your limited time to advance His kingdom? You could reach out to someone who needs to hear the gospel or serve the Lord in a new way.
Employment Point: Anticipate Jesus’ coming to deliver us from His pending wrath.

About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
