REVEALER OF GLORY We are the workmanship of Christ. When people see us, they must recognize that it is the Lord who has worked on us, with us, in us and for us. God has created and formed us and re-formed us in Christ to reveal His glory to the world. We must see, know, consider and understand all the events in which the Lord has acted in our lives. Those events were often beyond our control but the hand of the Lord redeemed us. We must see, know, consider and understand all the deeply personal issues of our character and temperament that He has patiently dealt with over the years. We must consider and understand the direction in which He is taking our families and us. We must see, know, consider and acknowledge all the blessings of grace and peace the Lord has bestowed in our lives. We must see, know, consider and remember all the struggles, trials and temptations He has delivered us from. We must also treasure and remember all the promises and prophecies, the Lord has spoken to us from time to time. When we undertake this exercise or spiritual process alone and on our own our doubts, fears and worries will flee and these will be replaced by assurance, hope, thanksgiving and an attitude of worship and gratitude. When we do it together with others, it will encourage and build up each other’s faith and strength.
