For You While we see the results of Noah’s trust, he looked crazy to the world around him. Trusting God is not very popular, and while we may be able to handle the jeers of strangers or even friends, it really hits home when your own family expresses their doubt. Seeing the confusion in the eyes of the people you love the most is hard for anyone. But Noah made the right choice when he continued to trust in God. God’s plan, though it looked foolish, turned out to be the only one on which Noah could rely. The same is true for you. Following God is still the best way, even when everyone else says otherwise. It's during the times when even those closest to you doubt, that you should seek God the hardest. Instead of turning away from God’s plan, turn to Him. He will help you remain faithful and He will work in the lives of those around you so that they see you are following Him. For Your Child Ask this Question: How hard would it be to trust God if everyone made fun of you? There will be times in your life when people will think you are silly for following God. It will happen. They will mock you and make fun of you. You could even lose friends. When that happens, you might doubt you are following God. If you do, pray and ask Him for direction and wisdom. He will give it to you. God's plans are always better, even if people around you don’t see it.
