Holy, Not SuperhumanSýnishorn

More Holy = More Intimate
Holiness isn’t a tax you pay to get into heaven or a spiritual insurance policy to keep you out of hell. It’s so much more. Holiness is the path to intimacy with God.
It’s not about checking a box on your “Good Christian” to-do list. It’s about stepping into the place where God’s presence becomes real, alive, and part of your everyday life.
The more I separate myself from the things that dull my spirit, distractions, compromises, attitudes that pull me away from Jesus, the more I move toward what sets me on fire: His voice, His Word, His presence.
It’s kind of like taking your phone off silent mode when someone you love calls—you don’t want to miss a word. That’s what holiness does: it removes the background noise so you can hear God clearly.
It’s like having a VIP pass. It doesn’t make you more important than anyone else. It doesn’t earn you a golden halo or a spiritual runway. But it gives you access to a room many never enter, because they’re too distracted or not willing to leave certain things at the door. And in that room? God speaks like a friend.
This isn’t poetic fluff, it’s real. It’s practical. It’s possible.
Holiness isn’t isolation. It’s not about escaping the world, but about staying close to the Father’s heart while living in it. Jesus was among people but always connected to heaven.
Want to see God? It’s not just about your eyes, it’s about a heart that stays clean, open, and soft enough to recognize His touch, even in small things.
Holiness doesn’t make you weird. It makes you sensitive. And spiritual sensitivity is one of the most valuable keys to truly living in God’s presence.
Pray this simple prayer:
Holy Spirit, help me desire Your intimacy more than any worldly success. Remove anything that clouds my vision and draw me closer to the Father every single day.
