Bro Code Devotional: Part 3 of 3Sampel

Lord God,

I pray for peace for my brothers. You know their struggles. They may be with finances, addiction, adultery, depression, or self-doubt. You know they are NOT broken but wounded.

Help them to commit their troubles to You and leave them at the foot of the cross for You to address. Father, we men often avoid looking back out of fear of what we might see. The past is never as far away as we would like to think.

It’s within that past that so much pain was caused and created. Men prefer to forge ahead when, in reality, we are just dragging them along instead of leaving our troubles behind.

God, grant our brothers the courage to see what has caused them pain, whether in their past or right in their face, and allow them to seek Your healing.
