King Solomon was an Israeli king in the Bible. God promised to give Solomon anything he asked for. Can you imagine? Anything! What did King Solomon ultimately ask for? Wisdom. He could have asked for anything, but he asked God for wisdom and understanding.
You know what that tells us? Wisdom and understanding are valuable! We can probably all think of bad decisions that we regret—decisions where we wish we’d had more wisdom. The good news is that just like Solomon, if we ask God for wisdom, He will give it to us.
If we go to Him for understanding, He’ll provide it. This week, start asking God for wisdom and understanding.
