Read Genesis 31-35
Think about: Meeting with God can change a person. After Jacob wrestles with God, his name is changed to Israel. This is symbolic of a deeper change — he is a different person. No longer is he “the deceiver.” Now, he is “one who struggles with God.” Knowing this, what practical steps can you take to spend more time with God? Follow through on at least one of those steps now.
