In the Bible, we read that when Jesus told His followers who He was, He said a number of statements beginning with, “I am”.
“I am the bread of life.”
“I am the light of the world.”
“I am the good shepherd.”
“I am the way the truth and the life.”
“I am the vine.”
When Jesus says, “I AM”, He declares the truth of who He is.
In the Bible we also read about who God says we are and we can declare our own “I AM” statements!
“I am chosen.”
“I am not alone.”
“I am a child of God.”
“I am forgiven.”
“I am free.”
“I am found.”
“I am a new creation.”
“I am alive with Christ.”
“I am God’s workmanship.”
Read today’s verses to see who God says He is and that God says you are chosen.
