Clothed with Majesty
To say our Lord is “clothed with majesty” is to say that all creation is window dressing for His excellence. It all points to Him. And just as a king’s palace with all its royal décor reflects something of that king’s personality, so creation reflects the magnificence of our Lord’s nature and character.
But more amazing is the fact that God, who is clothed with majesty, chose to become the personification of majesty when He came to earth in the form of His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus is the ultimate essence of God’s glory and the personification of His immeasurable majesty.
