We Are His Temples
Jesus came in a human body to fulfill a precise aspect of the Father’s will. The wounds sustained in His body are to break the shame of past sins performed by our bodies, blotting out that which often causes us to feel disqualified from being used by God. His physical wounds establish the Father’s full possession and dominion in our bodies, as certainly as His forgiveness does in our souls.
Your body has been sanctified, made worthy by God Himself to be a residence of His Holy Spirit, a temple for His indwelling. Your physical frame, whatever its past abuse or present weakness, is being raised by the Holy Spirit as a shrine unto the God of the heavens!
