Christ’s Triumph
Into the panic-filled, upper-room, Jesus came to meet His disciples the evening following His resurrection. His approach shows the patience Jesus had with their fears, but it also shows how He aggressively presses the reality of His victory.
He invites them to examine His wounds, now so completely and miraculously healed. “Handle me,” He says, urging them to fellowship by taking His hands, and to worship by coming to His feet.
