Through Abraham’s faith, he received God’s promise – to be a blessing to the nations. Through Abraham’s family tree, Jesus was born into the world offering true freedom to all who place their faith in Him.
Today, for us who follow Jesus, we inherit the promise given to Abraham centuries ago. We are now called to be a blessing to others.
Abraham recognized his blessing wasn’t simply for himself. He was blessed so that he could be a blessing to the nations. In the same way, when we follow Jesus, we’re blessed to be a blessing to others. We carry this promise to be a hope for all the nations, starting with those in our backyard.
Being FEARLESS means we’re a blessing to others because we have been blessed.

God has given His people a purpose: to connect everyone to Jesus and his mission. In order to pursue the mission of Jesus, we cannot have a faith that is timid or cowardly. As we spend time looking at the life of Abraham, a man of courageous faith and sacrificial obedience, we will be challenged to be FEARLESS for the mission of Jesus.
