DAY 1 – LOVE
Moment of Praise Worship
Read the Word:
- Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV)
- 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NKJV)
- John 13:34-35 (NIV)
Love is the foundation of all the fruit of the Spirit, because every other fruit flows from it. Without love, joy loses its strength, peace becomes shallow, and patience cannot endure. Love is not just an emotion — it is a deliberate, Spirit-empowered choice to act in kindness, mercy, and sacrifice. When the Holy Spirit rules our hearts, He teaches us to love beyond human limits, offering forgiveness where there is offense and compassion where there is brokenness.
Jesus made love the defining mark of discipleship. His command to love as He has loved us means we must be willing to love sacrificially. The Spirit enables us to overcome selfishness, pride, and envy so that our love reflects Christ’s. This love restores, unites, and points others to the God who is love. Every bruise and scar in our lives becomes an opportunity for His love to flow through us, proving that His Spirit is alive within us.
CONFESSION
I confess that the love of God has been poured into my heart by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). I will love God and others not only in words but in action. Love will guide my thoughts, my speech, and my actions. I overcome bitterness, envy, and selfishness, and I live daily as a witness of Christ’s love.
PRAYER FOCUS
Holy Spirit, fill me afresh with Your love today. Break down every wall of pride, unforgiveness, or bitterness that keeps me from loving freely. Help me see people as You see them and respond with compassion even when it costs me. Let my life overflow with love that restores and unites, proving the power of Christ in me. I choose love as my lifestyle. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
About this Plan

Heavenly Fruits with Marcus Mooki is a 10-day devotional exploring the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–24). Each day focuses on one fruit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—revealing how the Holy Spirit shapes Christlike character within us. Through Scripture, teaching, confessions, and Spirit-led prayers, you’ll discover that true transformation is not achieved by striving but by abiding in Christ and yielding to His Spirit. This journey will help you walk daily in the Spirit and bear lasting fruit that glorifies God.
