DAY 6 – GOODNESS
Moment of Praise Worship
Read the Word:
- Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV)
- Romans 15:14 (NKJV) – Now I myself am confident concerning you, my brethren, that you also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.
- Psalm 23:6 (KJV) – Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
Goodness is love in action. While kindness is the heart attitude, goodness is the outward demonstration of that love through deeds. The Holy Spirit empowers us to live lives that overflow with generosity, compassion, and moral integrity. Goodness is not passive; it is intentional in seeking the welfare of others.
Goodness also includes the courage to correct in love. Sometimes, the good thing is not the easy thing — it may mean warning someone of sin or guiding them back to truth. Spirit-led goodness seeks not only to comfort but to heal and restore, even when it requires tough love.
Ultimately, goodness flows from the nature of God Himself. Scripture declares that the Lord is good, and His mercy endures forever. As His Spirit dwells in us, we are called to reflect His goodness in a world that is often selfish and cruel. Our acts of goodness become living testimonies of the God we serve.
CONFESSION
I confess that I am full of the goodness of God. By the Holy Spirit, I choose to walk in generosity, truth, and love. My life will shine with good works that glorify my Father in heaven.
PRAYER FOCUS
Holy Spirit, fill me with Your goodness. Let my life overflow with generosity, compassion, and truth. Teach me to do what is right, even when it is difficult, and to correct in love when needed. May my words and deeds reflect the goodness of Christ, drawing others to His love. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
About this Plan

Heavenly Fruits with Marcus Mooki is a 10-day devotional exploring the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–24). Each day focuses on one fruit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—revealing how the Holy Spirit shapes Christlike character within us. Through Scripture, teaching, confessions, and Spirit-led prayers, you’ll discover that true transformation is not achieved by striving but by abiding in Christ and yielding to His Spirit. This journey will help you walk daily in the Spirit and bear lasting fruit that glorifies God.
