Heavenly Fruits

DAY 5 OF 10

DAY 5 – KINDNESS

Moment of Praise Worship

Read the Word:

  • Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV)
  • Ephesians 4:32 (NKJV) – And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
  • Micah 6:8 (NIV) – He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Kindness is more than politeness — it is a Spirit-born heart posture that seeks the good of others. The Holy Spirit cultivates in us a gentle, generous, and compassionate spirit that reflects the very nature of Christ. Kindness is not about what others deserve; it is about showing them the same grace God has shown us.

Kindness has the power to heal wounds, restore hope, and open hearts to the gospel. When we extend kindness, we are being vessels of God’s love in action. It goes beyond words to tangible deeds: helping the hurting, lifting the weary, and forgiving the offender. True kindness does not keep score — it gives freely.

The world often confuses kindness with weakness, but in the Spirit, it is strength. To remain kind in a world filled with bitterness, anger, and pride requires the Spirit’s empowerment. When we choose kindness, even toward the undeserving, we embody Christ’s humility and servanthood. Our kindness becomes a testimony of the gospel.

CONFESSION

I confess that kindness flows out of me because of the Spirit of Christ in me. I will be tenderhearted, forgiving, and generous, reflecting God’s goodness to everyone I encounter.

PRAYER FOCUS

Holy Spirit, fill my heart with kindness that reflects the heart of Christ. Remove selfishness, pride, and harshness from me. Teach me to show love through compassion and action. Let my words bring healing, and my deeds bring hope. May my kindness lead others to see the goodness of God. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

About this Plan

Heavenly Fruits

Heavenly Fruits with Marcus Mooki is a 10-day devotional exploring the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–24).
