Rebuilt Faith

DAY 3 OF 30

Day 3: Jesus Is Able to Heal

Compassion is powerful, but compassion alone does not heal. What sets Jesus apart is not only that He cares, it is that He is able. When the leper begged for cleansing, Jesus said, “I do will it. Be made clean.” And immediately, he was healed.

We often forget this side of Christ. He is not just sympathetic; He is sovereign. He is not only kind-hearted; He is all-powerful. Jesus is able to transform situations, restore brokenness, and bring life where there is death. That doesn’t mean every prayer for healing will look exactly as we want it to. Sometimes, He heals miraculously. Sometimes, He brings strength to endure. Sometimes He uses the hands of doctors, counselors, or friends. But always, He is competent to give us what we truly need.

Ephesians 3:20 tells us that God can do “abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine.” What would it look like to truly believe that today? To bring your wounds, sins, and struggles to Him, not just for comfort but for transformation? The same Jesus who healed the leper longs to work in your life in ways you cannot yet see.

  • What areas of your life feel beyond repair?
  • How can you bring them to Christ today, trusting not only His compassion but His power?

About this Plan

Rebuilt Faith

Rebuilt Faith will help you take daily steps to grow as a disciple of Christ. Inspired by the book by Fr. Michael White and Tom Corcoran, this plan invites you to reflect on who Jesus is and why He is worth following.
