Grace Anna Sings: Navigating ChangeExemple

There are decisions we make in life that will majorly change how we live each day. One of the biggest mistakes a person can make is making a big decision without seeking God’s guidance.
Since Grace Anna became an overnight sensation, we’ve had many offers for our family to participate in shows and programs. At the beginning, things always appeared to be legitimate proposals with people that genuinely cared for our family.
I continued to seek God’s guidance in each offer we had placed before us. And then it would come. That tug from inside my spirit that something was not right. I would pray about my uneasy feeling, for God to reveal anything that could change our lives in a negative manner. Each time when someone was being dishonest or had intentions that did not line up with our values, it came forth and we declined their offer. Once we declined, a peace filled my spirit that we had made the right decision.
Change is inevitable, but we need to make sure that the change we are making is something that is going to be good for us. Just because a change may bring more money, fame, or recognition does not mean it is what is best for us. Seek God’s guidance in prayer and fasting, He will not steer you in the wrong direction.
