He Visited Us
In consenting to visit us, Christ placed Omniscience into the schoolroom of human experience. He who knows all, acknowledged His desire to learn, to discover human pain in a human body, to feel disappointment with human emotions, and to suffer human misunderstanding. He might have simply asserted His perception of these human sensations. His justice would have been no less righteous. He would not have been less loving, less holy, or less God had He never submitted to these things.
But He did.
