Infinitum 30 Day Challenge - Week FourExemple

Missions
The third vow of Infinitum is mission. The most famous expression of our mission is known as the Great Commission. The Great Commission is found in Matthew 28:18-20 where Jesus commands His disciples to go out and make disciples of all nations. To many this might seem overwhelming and unfeasible but we need to break it down. It all starts with one disciple. You can start with your friend, a family member, someone close to you—someone who needs direction and guidance in regards to following Jesus.
Before you can begin discipling others you must be a disciple yourself. The word disciple comes from a Greek word that means ‘leaner’ which connoted a committed follower. We learn from Jesus to be more like Him and become committed followers of Him. Once we realize that we too are learning, listening, and following we can spread that news to others. As we disciple one another the message spreads and those who have been discipled by you go on to disciple others. This soon turns your single disciple into the plural, it all just starts with one.
Missions begins with listening. To God and to others. Determine to be an active listener this week. What do you hear for the first time?
Mission Hands Forward: “I choose to hold my hands forward as a symbol of mission. I want to live for something greater than me. I want to embrace your kingdom mission. I want to embrace and welcome your mission. To the lost, last, least and lonely.”
