God responds to Jeremiah, and the chapter concludes with God’s message of hope. Today’s Scripture Reading Jeremiah 32:16-44 Today’s Key Verse: Jeremiah 32:17 “Sovereign LORD, you made the earth and the sky by your great power and might; nothing is too difficult for you.” Reflect What was Jeremiah’s prayer? Note how his prayer is framed by his purchase of the field (verses 16, 25). How is the siege of Jerusalem described (verse 24)? How did God respond to Jeremiah? What message of hope was given? Is there someone you know who needs to hear words of hope today? Pray Lord God, in you I place my hope. Nothing is too difficult or impossible for you. You know what is in my heart.
