Fight for the Faith: A Prayer Journey Thru JudeExemple

Day 9 We need God’s help as we fight for the faith! May all true Christ-followers “contend for the faith,” as Jude put it, especially as we keep in mind that severe judgment awaits all who reject God. Indeed, all who have not come to God through Jesus Christ face eternal judgment. Jesus starkly warns us about this in His story of the separation of the sheep and the goats (Matthew 25:31-46). As we pray through the book of Jude, he cautions us about such individuals: “Yet in like manner these people also, relying on their dreams, defile the flesh, reject authority, and blaspheme the glorious ones” (8). Father God, enable me to glorify You! Use me to help others find eternal forgiveness and everlasting life through Jesus Christ our Lord. I know it’s Your heart that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9). May that be my heart—and fuel for prayer and practical ministry—as well!
