God’s love never fails. No matter what you do or don’t do, He never stops loving you. His love isn’t based on how good you are; instead, it’s about how good He is. It is easy to believe that His love is based on our performance or obedience. Our shame is quick to point out our mistakes and tell us we aren’t lovable because of what we’ve done. But the Scripture tells us what’s true: God’s love is unfailing. His love will never run out or leave us. How comforting is that?
Is there something holding you back from believing or receiving God’s unfailing love for you? Confess it to Him. Then, pray this verse out loud to remind you of the truth that God’s love never leaves or fails.
