Being Missional in IsolationExemple

FOLLOWERS AND FISHERMEN / AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST
As followers of Jesus, we are commanded to identify with Jesus (this is what baptism chiefly represents). We identify with his death, burial, and resurrection. We identify with his body, the called-out ones, the church (both local and global). We identify with his mission by obeying his every word and every command.
In today’s passages, it is quite clear that our new identity comes with responsibility. Let these passages set the pace for the remainder of this reading plan. Isolation is not an excuse to not share the life-giving gospel of Jesus. We are commanded to do these things regardless of circumstances. We simply need to be creative and entrust our efforts to the Lord. We cannot control how effective we are, but we are responsible for how faithful we are!
DAILY DISCOVERY QUESTIONS FOR JOURNALING OR DISCUSSION:
- What does this teach me about God the Father, God the Son, or God the Holy Spirit?
- What does this teach me about myself and other people?
- What does this teach me about making disciples?
- How will I obey this lesson personally?
- Who can I share these truths with today?
À propos de ce plan

In times of isolation, you may be tempted to think that there is nothing that you can do to make disciples, but the Apostle Paul, who wrote about half of the New Testament, did some of his best work from prison! The books of Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and Philemon were all written from a place of isolation. Even from isolation you can make disciples.
