A sign of this everlasting covenant is the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds. Today’s Scripture: Genesis 9:16 (GNT) [God said:] “When the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between Me and all living beings on earth.” Today’s Reading Genesis 9:1-29 Reflect The covenant God makes is initiated by God and is eternal. It is made with Noah and all living beings. God says that the “bow in the clouds” will be the sign of his covenant with the world. What are your thoughts whenever you see a rainbow? Pray Sovereign God, Your love is eternal and I trust in Your promises. Open my eyes to signs of Your love and grace around me this day. Amen.
