Overflow (OHC)Exemple

Following Jesus means more than wearing a cross necklace or gluing a fish symbol on our cars. It’s a devotion that starts with emptying ourselves of the things that hinder our relationship with Him so that we can experience the fullness of life He intended for us. We need to let go of ourselves and be filled with Christ, so that Christ may overflow into the world around us. It's so easy to become watchers and listeners when Christ wants us to become followers and participants! This reading plan is meant to be a companion to your journey- as we walk along the path of following Christ and learn to live out of the overflow of His great love for us. We'll read stories and insights of people who have had to empty themselves to discover how to abide in Christ and be filled with the Spirit. As we let go of old ways of living and allow God to refill us with His abundant life, we will overflow with hearts of hope, forgiveness, compassion, and joy.
