SALVATION Isaiah 12:2 O God, You are my Salvation! My heart is desperate for Your words of life; my soul is destitute for works of love. I cry to You, once again, "Save me, O God, for the waters have threatened my life. I have sunk in deep mire, and there is no foothold; I have come into deep waters, and a flood overflows me. I am weary with my crying; my throat is parched; my eyes fail while I wait for my God." O sweet Savior, help me to remember You ... Your strength, Your power, Your might, Your love. Make these be the cords that pull me from the tumultuous waves of my fear, my confusion, my doubt, my dismay. Yes, O God, please become my strength, my song and my salvation once again! My faith is as small as a mustard seed, O God; thank You for asking for no more than that. Because of Your unfailing love, I can already cling to these words of hope: He sent from on high, He took me; He drew me out of many waters, He delivered me from my strong enemy ... the Lord was my stay. He brought me forth also into a broad place; He rescued me because He delighted in me.
