Sa femme appartient au clan d’Aaron et elle s’appelle Élisabeth. Tous les deux sont justes devant Dieu, ils obéissent parfaitement aux lois et aux commandements du Seigneur. Ils n’ont pas d’enfant parce qu’Élisabeth ne peut pas en avoir, et ils sont déjà vieux tous les deux.
