Earth Is Heaven's BootcampNäide

Your Own Assessment
No one knows your heart more than God and you. “No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit.”1 Corinthians 2:11 NLT
Scripture tells us in Lamentations 3 that God’s mercies are new every morning! Today is a new beginning. Maybe boot camp has dealt you some brutal blows, but with God’s steadfast love and mercies anew, we can dust off that old, square our shoulders, and reestablish our commitment to God!
As we get in the habit of walking in His truth and get that into every fiber of our being, we can see a clearer vision of the road set before us! Life will always have a few unwanted potholes, but with God, He will pave our way!
I can’t imagine this boot camp without Him; His promise to never leave us; His unending love and faithfulness, knowing when we fall, He has His arms open wide, bidding us to come under His protection!
As you look deep inside your soul, always remember these things:
- “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV
- “For I know the plans I have for you, ”declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
- “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 KJV
- “Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.” Romans 12:3 NLT
Prayer: Lord, help us as we assess ourselves to be honest about where we are in our spiritual walk. If we have lagged, nudge us to catch up, for no man knows the hour or day. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
About this Plan

Compared to eternity, life on earth is but a short time. The world is home to an estimated 722,000 centenarians (age 100), according to the United Nations’ population projections for 2024. That is, .02 to .03% of the world’s population. Whether we die young or live to be old, what we do in between will matter. Living here is boot camp training to qualify for heaven!
