What Do You Know About Pizza?

Wait—pizza? Yes, pizza

Welcome to the first day of this amazing Bible Plan. You’re going to learn about pizza. Oh, and also about your mission, your little “c” church, and the great big capital “C” Church.

Making sense? Pizzas come in all kinds of shapes with all kinds of toppings. But they’re all pizza!

Christian churches can look different from one another. They’re made of so many different buildings, people, places, languages, and experiences. But they have one thing in common: They’re places where anyone can learn about loving and following Jesus! All these little “c” churches are part of the great big mission of the capital “C” Church: Love God and love people!

Now that makes sense! And hopefully you’re not too hungry after all that pizza talk.

Surprise alert: Psst—hey! It’s me, your Bible Plan! Let me tell you something special. Every day of this Bible Plan, you get to read Matthew 22:37-39. It’s great in every translation of the Bible, but check out the NIV to get ready for a surprise! Pray: God, thank You for welcoming everyone who comes to You through Jesus into Your big family, the Church. Help me to share Your love in the church and out in the world—as Your Church! Most of all, I want to love You and others more every day. In Jesus’ name, amen.
